IM Motors and NIO Energy Establish Charging Network Interoperability Partnership

On May 30, IM Motors Technology Co., Ltd. (“IM Motors”) and Wuhan NIO Energy Co., Ltd. (“NIO Energy”) officially established a partnership for charging network interoperability.

According to the cooperation agreement, starting May 30, IM Motors users can use the app and in-car charging map to view the location, price, status, and usage information of NIO charging stations nationwide in real-time. They can quickly complete operations such as scanning to charge and order payment, and directly deduct IM Motors users’ electricity rights.

By the end of May, IM Motors’ interoperability has connected over 800,000 charging guns, covering more than 360 cities nationwide. By mid-June, this number is expected to exceed 920,000 charging guns, and by the end of the year, it is projected to surpass one million charging guns.

We have observed that NIO has already established charging network interoperability partnerships with brands such as Geely Automobile Group, Jiyue, SAIC-GM, Deepal, and IM Motors. Additionally, NIO has signed battery swapping cooperation agreements with China FAW, GAC Group, Changan Automobile, Geely Holding, Chery Automobile, JAC Group, and Lotus.
